Hello, my house has spiral balancers on the double-hung windows, 30" long and ~3/8" diameter. However, we have plantation shutters installed on the inside, so that while I can get the movable frame to the top of the window frame, pull the releases in and have the top edge tip out, it hits the shutte ... I don't have much information to share, beyond the photos. I find no marking on the windows. I know they are about 20-years-old because they are original to the house, which we had built near Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Looking to match the pivot shoes and balances photo graphed above. Also will need the tool to charge the balance.

I have 5 MW bottom tilt windows, house built in 1998, that need new spiral balances. The length of the balance top to bottom is 47.5" and the white cover over the coil is 31". I understand there is a tool to help install the balances and I would like that also.
