75-006 Spiral Balance Charging Tool for Tilt Windows

When I was opening one of my windows, I had an explosion of plastic pieces. After gathering up the pieces, I determined it was the shoe that broke on both sides. This is a double-hung tilt vinyl window. I've tried to identify the shoe on you web site, but can't seem to find a match. Can you help ... (cont.)

1. pivot bar ID 2 Shoe: The best we can tell is it is 2 3/32" long; 1 1/4" wide; 1/2" thick. The pictures are in either this email or the second one titled Window Info- Wolf 2 3. Spiral balance: They are 3/8 " wide- so series 900. Does this mean the same length will fit in all the windows ... (cont.)

One broken balance and other spiral balance came loose from the pivot shoe. Best I can measure with it still installed is 2-1/8 high by 1-1/4 wide by 17/32 thick. From underneath I can see the brake is blue. Determined S600-24 for spiral balance. Not sure if I should choose the 1/2 thick with bl ... (cont.)

I need 4 of the pieces reflected on the pictures attached to replace parts for 2 Window Mart windows. As you can see the metal part of the base piece (seat) has been damaged and spiral coil balance will not attach to it. Please let me know if you have these parts and how much they are. Thanks Chi ... Customer believes that the windows are Simonson windows. Approximately 18 years old. The shoes are 1 3/8 wide x 2 tall x 1/2thick. Thanks for the help. I could not find part numbers.

I recently bought my house and notice that several windows no longer remain open without support. When I took the window sash out I noticed that most of them had broken pivot shoes. Hi, the first two pictures I sent are from the left side of the window, one is with the piece in place and the second is with the part removed. I have 5/8" spiral balances on double hung tilt out windows from 1996 of unknown brand. Balances measure 31.5" and 33.5 inches of the metal tube. There is also a 1/2" foam at the bottom of each metal tube part of the balance which brings the length of the balances to 32" and 34" when I include the ... (cont.)

TRYING O GET A MATCH 17/32 THICK X 1-1/4 wide X 2-1/32" high

We purchased Pivot Shoe 15-045. This pivot shoe was absolutely perfect for our windows... right height, width and thickness. But there is no way that our windows will fit in the pivot shoe. Went to clean screen - should have just let the cobwebs alone!!! Pivot Shoe broke - probably both. Pivot Bar missing - then broke the other side taking it apart. Can you tell me what I need to fix? I have aluminum windows. I found provided cutout in the tracks, and was able to remove the old pivot shoes by prying with a screwdriver. Replacing the shoes is a bit more difficult. seems like my windows have gotten hard to open , I have the 17 inch with blue tips. do I need new balances or is it another problem?

I have 7 windows that have black tips on the spiral balances and are 30" in length and 3/8" in dia. I have 2 windows that have white tips, 30" in length 3/8 in dia and 1 window with white tip 13" in length and 3/8" dia.
