spiral balances and shoes
I have 5/8" spiral balances on double hung tilt out windows from 1996 of unknown brand. Balances measure 31.5" and 33.5 inches of the metal tube. There is also a 1/2" foam at the bottom of each metal tube part of the balance which brings the length of the balances to 32" and 34" when I include the ... (cont.)

Can You Please Help???? Broke Bathroom Window

Installing Pivit Shoes
I have aluminum windows. I found provided cutout in the tracks, and was able to remove the old pivot shoes by prying with a screwdriver. Replacing the shoes is a bit more difficult. Carefree Window Spiral Balance
I have 7 windows that have black tips on the spiral balances and are 30" in length and 3/8" in dia. No numbers or markings on balancers. The windows are made by Kinro. Most of the windows in the home are 45W x 59H, 2 are 29W X 59H and one is 29W X 35H.The balancer in the picture came out of the 45 X 59 window but the 29 X 45 window had the same thing in it. TRACO window tilt latch
I need to find a replacement part for a broken tilt latch for a TRACO window. The windows date back to approx 1981. The only identifier I can see on the window is TRA-5-81. See photos attached.
