Finding the right balance
I have a 27" long balance stamped "26c". I was told that it is approx a 30 pound window This is for a non-tilt aluminum window. Is the correct channel balance the 2630? Also, I need the clips. Take out clip replacement
I have a home built in 2005 with single-hung CertainTeed vinyl windows. Had one of the channel balance take out clips break (and several more look like they are on the verge of breaking) and was wondering if your Pan Am Take Out Clip Product # 16-023 (of even the metal one if not this one) will work ... Correct choice
Replacing channel balances and retainers clips in old Jordan windows (house built in 1991). Appears the best choice is Series 390-29 Option 2840 at 29". Retainer clips are #16-002. Window balance replacement
We have a couple of windows where the balance has broken and is sticking up out of the channel. I haven't forced it but can't open the window to remove and/or replace. Pictures attached. Window balance pics
Hi, I talked to Steve just now so here are some pics of both ends. 1620 is stamped on the side and it is 1/2 inch x 17 long. Your shoes measure 1 inch..the 15-004, mine are shy of that by 1/8 inch..maybe worn I don't know. Thanks so much, Kathi

In need of a pair of replacement window balances and release clips
The length of the metal channel is 20 5/8", the width of the channel is 9/16", the depth of the channel is 5/8" I also need two replacement 1/4" metal release clips

How to remove non-tilt Alenco window?
Also have Alenco windows but the bottom sash does not have a tilt window latch. How can I take out the window so we can have the glass replaced? I could not find the mechanism to release the bottom sash or am I missing something?

need balances and take out clip for metal window
The window is a non-tilt. I believe it was made by Florida Extruders. The balance is 29 inches. There appears to be "28C USB" stamped on them. Attached are pictures. I broke the take out clip and need one of those also.

The balance has writing that is not too clear in the picture, but says: 29 9 HW CMC 11. There are no numbers I can see on the end pieces ( I need 2 of them for the top left and right of the window. Channel Balance and take out clips
I need to replace both channel balances in my window. While I was taking them out the take out clips broke. I will also need that too. Balances springing out in Atrium window sashes
I have two styles of window, each with a different balance length but same shoes and tops on each. Both balance bodies are 9/16 inches wide and 5/8 inches deep. S385-33 Balance Help
When installing 8 (order total; all same type of the aforementioned), these 5 channel balances broke upon usage when installing in window. two broke at the top, much smaller pieces, the other three severely damaged the pulley system and snapped. 33 DS 38 balance
I need balances for 8 windows, they measure 34 inches (just the metal) and have the attachment as noted in the photo.
