Looking for the lock slide door replacement

I have a client that has aluminum slider with no proper handle and lock. The house was built in 1973. someone Jerry rigged a handle on that inside- so you can ignore that. Attached are photos.the slider is 1-1/8" thick. the slot for lock is about 1/2" wide.the face of the aluminum slider frame is a ... (cont.)

I'm a tenant and the luck similar to the photo in your post above, on slide glass patio door broken from inside.it is an old door and I lived here over ten years now. I have learned it's mortise lock but not sure what type "vertical or 45 degree"

have a Blomberg sliding glass door/system that has been discontinued. The thumb latch thingy broke. By broke I mean that the thumb latch fell out of it's usual position.
