The windows were installed in October 2018 The first picture is the good balancer still installed the second is the one I took out. there is a 12 marked on the balance no markings on the springs. I am working on a couple of Simonton windows with coil balances. one is a single coil stamped 5 and the other is a dual coil with the lower coil stamped 4 and the upper coil stamped 6.5. Which coil balances should I use?Thanks, Robert

Hello, looking For replacement window balances and shoes. I cannot find the window make anywhere.

Just purchased this house and found this condition. Double hung window, 33WX30L, sash is 21.5lbs. The attached pics show 2 different mounting heights. These coil balance springs are 1/2" wide. There are numbers denoting the weight and length (see pictures). I tried using #S160-05 and they were too short, although otherwise correct.The extended length needed is approx.53". It is for a tilt-in double hung with overall height of 58". I believe they a ... How do I tell how many pounds it is? It's 1/2" wide. The window measures 45" tall x 28" wide, thanks

A rep asked me how thick is my shoe. It's a little less than a half inch. Thickness is .530 and the width is 1.209 and the sash height is 18 in.These windows are only about 12 years old I don't know why these shoes broke. One broke then the other one, together.Thanks for your help ... (cont.)
