Hello, As you can see my sashes are completely distroyed: The metal shaft is 29" long 1/2" wide channel 7/8" shoe...back to front The only number stamped on shaft was 28B

I purchased 5/8 sash guide 18-161 and they work fine for the ones I could replace BUT, some of the windows have a broken piece of plastic in the top of the metal bar that goes up to the sash guide . What is THAT OTHER PART? Channel balance?

Window is a 24700. Length of channel balance is 28" Width is 1/2" Top looks like a 19-005 Shoe size is 1 1/16". Not sure if a 15-001 or 15-002 would work Stamp on existing channel balance is 24-7.

The Channel Balance Assembly is 1/2" wide x 30"long. It is similar to S380 except bottom shoe depth is 7/8". Top guide and bottom shoe are both winged. The top guide appears to be 19-005. I had ordered part S380-29, but I seem to have gotten the bottom shoe incorrect. The top guide matches, but the bottom shoe appears to be slightly larger (about 1/8th of an inch) with these new balances and thus won't fit in the window. After reading several posts in the discussion section and reviewing the balance accessories section, I found that the balance top matches the dimensions of item 19-005 and the shoe matches item 15-029 (7/8" Depth).
