Metal frame is 20 inches and the base plastic is 1 inch wide.

Hi I'm trying to identify some window balances. I watched the video online and I hope I got all the angles covered. The sash that needs these weighs about 25.2lbs. We are replacing some 20" window balances and trying to determine the proper balance to use. Non tilt vinyl windows installed in 1997. Balances have identifiers 19 4 DS Caldwell if that helps identify the product. Thanks

Hello, The current channel balances I have are 20" from end to end of the metal. It is a non-tilt window and the stamp reads 1920. Based off of looking at the plastic fittings on each end it appears to me that this is a 20" series 378 channel balance but I could certainly be wrong. I have attached ... (cont.)
