Hello, The width measures 1/2-9/16 inch, and the length of the channel is 21 inches.

Hello:I have about 35 year old sliding windows that need replacement of the balance guides. Attaching the photos. They are 22 inch long, with the balance of 21 inch long. The cable of the hook for my channel balance of a top hung window was broken. The balance was made by Caldwell Model 20 4 JP as shown on the picture. It was for an old aluminum Milguard window may be 16-20 years old. It is still good.

The metal balancer is stamped with "2020". The length of the metal portion of the balancer is 21". The u-shaped balancer dimensions are 5/8" in depth (height) and 1/2" in width.
