S380-24 24" Series 380 Channel Balance

I just installed some new channel balances(order 891371) on some non tilt windows. Some windows go up & down fine but others go down hard. I have to apply a lot of pressure when they get half way down.What did I do wrong.?the #'s stamped on the original balances are, 2906,2904,2305,1730. The 1730 & ... (cont.)

The slide is 23 inches long and the cord appears to be broken. Where can I get a replacement part?

I have a balance stamped 2306 it is 24" long I don' see anything like that on the chart. What would you recommend in place of it thank you

What's the difference between a 380 and a385 channel balance. I can't tell from the pictures.

I am trying to identify the proper Channel Balance. Alcan 2320E. I have attached copies of the top and bottom. It is the 1/2" channel and 24" long. I'm trying to figure out which Stamp Option I should choose for the Series 380-24, but the stamp on my channel balance doesn't seem to match any of the options. It says: "23 4 HO CALDWELL". I'm not sure how much my sash weighs, but it feels like at least 20 lbs.

I have lawson SH7500 windows, and the pane has stepped out of the guide/channel - is there a fix for this? Also on another one, the mechanism is broken , as it will not stay up

I need two window replacement balancers, Alcan (assumed) with part number 2305 stamped on balancers. Sash weight is 29-30 lbs. What would be cost for two (20) balancers + shipping?

We need to replace several window channel balances. They are 24" - 2320. The Swisco site shows this window channel available in several different series. How can I tell which series my replacement part is? I have no other identifying numbers.
