What is my window balancer
I am having a hard time locating a replacement balancer for my window. I thought I found the correct one but when I weighed my sash it is 36.4 pounds and I couldn't find a balancer for that weight. How to read stamp on balance spring
How do I know what stamp option I need? The old spring has "26 5 LU CMC 1" stamped on it. It is a 1/2" channel, 27" long spring. Thanks!

I have reviewed your non-tilt window balances in shop items. I believe the ones I will be ordering for replacement will be # 380 in 27"; BUT, I have questions. First: the channel on the ones being removed measures 1/2" x 27 1/5" long. Does that equate to the 27" length? Second: the only number ... (cont.)

Identify sash guide
I am a first time window repairer and I have selected 2 each S380-27 channel balances to repair my window. I also need the sash guides but could not find any in your listing that have the top-to-screw-hole dimensions of 1-3/8". The windows were made by Alcan about 25 years ago. Please see attached p ... Milgard channel balancer

I have a sash that weighs 32 lbs. My balance looks like a series 380 or 385, they look identical to me. Length is 27in. 1/2 in wide. Do you have one that can support that weight?
