S600-29 29" Series 600 Spiral Tilt Window Balance

Have removed old balance and is 29" long (tube only) But the diameter is 1/2", not 3/8" or 5/8" (please see photo). Can I use a different size, and if so, which is best?

I am in need of some parts to repair my Gapco windows. I need Spiral Balances, Tilt Latches, and 'Trim' (I'm not sure what this is called, so am calling it Trim until you correct me). Also, I have not been able to remove the 'Trim' so it is unclear to me how or if I can replace this if you have it. ... (cont.)

Please assist in identifying the balance in the attached photo. The white plastic outer cover (on top balance in photo) measures 9/16" wide and 29" long. prroblem with 2 windows that wont stay up keep sliding down how do i fix this.

The upper window on the right in pic 2818 will not stay up and is completely disconnected from the balances on both sides. the lower window it is extremely difficult to insert the feet into spiral balance even using your instructions of pulling the window part way up. Hi, I talked with gentleman last week and told me to take pictures and send them in.The metal spiral balance is 30"The plastic tube is 29" x 9/16"DIAMENTER.The track with holds the metal spiral connected to the bottom piece is 1 3/8"My Name is DaveI need pieces to fix my window. I did not find any numbers or markings. Oh one other thing. I need to fix the spiral balance in several windows. Does the spiral balance tool come in different sizes or is it one size fits all?

Hi. All my windows can't stay up. The pivot shoe all cracked (plastic). The RED spiral balance length is 29", the BLUE pivot shot is 2" (L) x 1 1/2" wide (track wall-to-wall). Hi there. The spiral balancers I'd like to replace have no color, but I know are 29" and 3/8" dia. Would you be able to determine the weight/color needed by the size of the bottom sash? It measures roughly 44"x29" and is double pane. Thank you for any advice

If there is no color on the tip of the spiral balance which balance do I order? The length is 29" x 5/8" wide.

The bottom tilt sash measures 30" H x 29" W and is too heavy to me to remove to weigh. The current bottom balance measures 29" long, 9/16" wide, and has a RED tip.All of six of my aluminium windows currently have RED tip balances and all six windows have broken balances, three have broken balances o ...
