S900-17 17" Series 900 Spiral Balance

I know these are 3/8 diameter. Just not sure on the length. From what I see they are a 17" and 29". Is that correct?

3/8 diameter. looks like white tip (discolored from grease) first sash 29 inch long. 16 lbs. second sash 29 inch long. 20 lbs. 3rd sash 17 inch long. 12 lbs.

hi, mine is 17" and the tip is green. Not sure which color to order as green wasn't an option? I dont have a scale here to weigh the sash. its a hurricane impact window and total weight is 51 lbs.

I need to order a set of spiral balances and a charging tool red cap 17" 3/8" diameter

Just measured the tubes on a customer's spiral balances that need to be replaced. The tubes are 3/8" diameter and the length is 17 and 1/4 inches. Blue tip. Can I order series 900 17" balances or do I need to order up to the nearest inch ie: 18" balances. Thanks for your help.

Hello, Looking for a few of the pivot bar parts, and some spiral balances which are 32" long. The metal casing that the spiral is in is appx. 16 7/8". Thanks

The one in the first pic fits fine, the other one is too big in diameter (ordered wrong). The cover won't fit. Also, the "foot" at the bottom of the window in the 3rd pic needs replacing on both sides. Unsure of the name. I also need the cover for both sides.Tks!Anita

Attached are the two pics of my window slide tensioners. The manufacturer of the window is ELL-1 and model is A-L-I Validator ( I believe). It is a series 100 SH/DW(716/717) Single Hung window. Need sprial tilt window balancers 17" long 1/2" diameter blue tip.

They are 29" long width of 3/8 and the window sash weight is 22 lbs. Should I order the red, or green. Also need 4 balancers for a 26" length 3/8 width with 9 lb. Window sash also need 4 window balancer length 29" width 3/8 window sash weighs 25 lb.

I have a small tilt window (Jeld-Wen, I think) which never has worked easily. I measure the spring as 3/8" x 17", yellow color code. Sash weighs ~20 Lb. Trying to find a replacement for a white window balance. The length of the white shell is 17", has a red cap, pins that are 7/16" apart. The number 1298 is stamped on the spiral metal piece of the balance. Do you have a replacement part for this balance? Thank you

Your depiction of the Swisco com/d/series 900 Spiral balance 3/8" diameter 17" long appears to be the correct tube assembly for my window. The spiral insert end of the two assemblies needing replacement appear to be rusted off. Your catalog describes the end of the spiral insert to have "double pins ... (cont.)

Trying to identify which spiral(s) to get for my windows. The window manufacturer is Better Bilt. The pictures are of 2 different windows. I am replacing another set of window spiral balancers on a smaller window. The tip is up inside the tube on both so I cannot get a picture. Both look to be faded out. The measurements are: 17" long, 3/8" wide, and the sash weighs 10.8lbs.
