S180-07 7 lbs Series 180 Coil Balance

This is in a 2 year old Champion manufactured home. We purchased it new 1 year ago new from the dealer. The reason I provided this information is I read you recommend replacing in sets of two (both sides). We have only opened the window a very few times so I didn't know if you would still recommend ... I have attached a picture of the label from the window. I apparently need 2 coil balances and instructions on how to replace them.

Looks like an aluminum ribbon. Was expecting a channel balancer and instead got a ribbon just in the channel???? Examined another window and no ribbon? Outside my expertise at this point.

I have a TRACO double hung window that needs the coil balances on both sides changed. The window is 26#. Thanks.

I'm assuming i need S140-7 as the shoes read 7L 7R. They are also marked T5,353,548 but i don't know if that is relevant. I do not have permission to cut yet. I am replacing the balance in one window and see that S180-7 looks like a replacement. Is the 40 inch long appropriate for a 24" sash? Also what does the small adjustment screw do at the top where the mounting bracket is located.

Hi, need help replacing the constant force spring assembly. The window weight is 30 pounds, so I'm looking at the 15-lb/pd/series-140-quick-tilt-balance which looks totally different from what I have I also need the rounded pivot bar. Is there any parts I need for attaching?

Hello, I have a Traco bathroom window from maybe the early 1990's. The spring has broken. Replacement cassettes might not be a bad idea either. The window measures 27 3/8" wide X 20 15/16" high X 1 1/2" thick. Using my bathroom digital scale it weighs 14 lbs. Any help would be greatly appreciated, ... (cont.)

On the large part spring has number a big 7 then a small 23x onit. The small one has a big 7 and then a small. 37w believe to be TRACO WINDOWS. BRIGHTON GLASS

The sashes seem to weigh (I only have bathroom scale) about 27 lbs each. I have about 35 of these Gorell sashes with coil balance problem. I?d rather rebuild than replace them. How do I know what weight coil to order? On the end mine are etched 7 CB ( mine are broken ) my original widths are a half inch wide with 2 holes on the end. Looking at your site I would guess I need part 15-087 Coil housing pivot shoe and the series 180 coil balance. Please confirm on both of my a ... (cont.)

the window is 44 pounds, vinyl frame. the existing balances appear to be 35/64" deep by 1- 17/64" wide with 3 coils. I inadvertently damaged them while installing the window. I was cleaning my window and (as I've learned later), probably didn't lift my window enough and think I've broken this part. I need to replace it but don't even know what to search. I also can't even get the window back in at this point so it's a bit urgent!
