I think it's called a lock balance. I need two, both are broken. The little round plastic part that holds the pin fell out because the round bottom plastic piece broke. Thank you. Gail

Recently I've changed the insulated sash glass and the window weight changed to 30lb per. The OEM balancers with the windows work but they creep down slow not fast. What does your team suggest on the springs. PS? 32 3/4 x 24 3/4

Window is roughly 60x30. Bottom sash is half that. The coil balance is Bronze. But I'm not sure what length is required. Looking at the photos on your website, I think series 175 coil balance is required. Can you determine the length with the info that I gave? Please let me know. Thanks, Steve ... (cont.)

On the window screen it shows model number gx7166. On the shoe/coil balance item pictures it has the number 3 listed. It also has a number on the spring that says 832.

Hi, my bedroom slide up and down windows (2) side by side windows coils and the parts got broken, so the windows are sliding sown to the bottom always, no way I can keep it up (open). The spring connections seems to have failed. I have a picture of the window sticker from MI windows. The lower window sash is about 34 inches

I was told that the window balances are needing replaced in several windows. There is the number 640 stamped on the coil. Hello Swisco. I have a small, vinyl, bathroom window. The rough opening is approximately 36 x 36. Something snapped yesterday and the sash will now NOT stay up. There are no tags or engravings on the window, so I do not know the brand. But I remember purchasing it at Lowe's or Home Depot about 14 ... (cont.)

Broken coiled spring from a window purchased from builders prime in Bridgeport pa in 2006. Now out of business.

540 is what is on the coil. I saw no other identifying marks, numbers, words or letters on the parts or the window. All of the stickers on the windows appear to have been worn or taken off.

It is for a 15lb. sash and is stamped with the #7. The width of the copper coil is 1/2in.
