I ordered the CertainTeed pivot shoe to replace my broken shoes but they are not the right part and don't fit into my windows. The picture are of the broken parts needing to be replaced. I am looking for pivot shoes for my windows. I purchased the CertainTeed Pivot Shoe P/N: 15-192. It looked the most similar to what I had originally. Hi, I have a Certainteed window and the bottom sash won't stay raised. It appears I need to change the window coil balances. Can you tell from the photos what parts I need?

Can you tell me which pivot I need to order to replace this broken piece. I included the bar code that I found on the side of the window.

I need to replace, for a customer, a pair of Certainteed coil balances. the part number on the roller (Drum?) is 86170. The coil is 1 1/16" dia. and has 5-6 winds. the coil also has no holesbut one end has a half width cut away by 1/4" with the remaining half having a half circle profile. I'm af ... (cont.)

The pivot shoe on my window broke and I matched that up to a 15-192. The pivot bar also broke, but I don't see one on the website. Here is a picture of my old pivot bar. Do you guys have anything comparable or that will work with the new pivot shoe. Please let me know, thanks.

I have already received parts for my smaller windows from SWISCO, they used an 8.5 lb spring. THis window is much larger and the original manufacture used 3 springs in tandum as you can see, All the other parts are the same, so do I just use a stronger spring for use with this window or do i need a ... Hi: I have a single hung CertainTeed Vinyl window. The left side counterbalance spring seems to have broken so the window won't stay up in intermediate positions. I order the replacement pivot shoe 15-192 which is the exact replacement. However I had to modify this part to fit in the channel. All the raised ribs on the front and back I had to grind down smooth for this to fit the channel. Is there a different part number with smooth front and back? Also had ... (cont.)

Hi, I'm stuck. I can't figure out how to tilt out the sash to get to the pivot shoe. I believe the spring snapped, and the spring that remains attached to the pivot shoe has so much tension on it, that I can't pry it up enough to angle out the sash.
