I order the replacement pivot shoe 15-192 which is the exact replacement. However I had to modify this part to fit in the channel. All the raised ribs on the front and back I had to grind down smooth for this to fit the channel. Is there a different part number with smooth front and back? Also had ... (cont.)

Hi, I'm stuck. I can't figure out how to tilt out the sash to get to the pivot shoe. I believe the spring snapped, and the spring that remains attached to the pivot shoe has so much tension on it, that I can't pry it up enough to angle out the sash. Hi, I took out my window sash on my curtain teed windows but now can't get them back in because the center piece has no outlet. The parts all are working fine can I use this replacement? Or even find a new metal core that would fit to get them back in?
