S385-23 23" Series 385 Channel Balance

The window was really hard to open. Then this part came out of the side. Is it something thats fixable? There is a number stamped on the outside of it

Need the window balance for the above Part Number (23 3 BR Caldwell). Window Weight: 16 lbs.

Hi,I live in Lake Placid, FL and have NuAir windows in my 1993 home. I need to replace the channel balances for 13 windows. My question is are there two balances per window? The balances have the following numbers stamped on their sides 2020Z (21 inch) or 2220Z (23 inch).They are both 1/2 inches wide and appear to have the 19-005 fitting on the top and the 15-004 fitting on the bottom. I need 12 of the 2020Z and 6 of the 2220Z. Do either the 385 series or the 800 series ... (cont.)

I have had these parts replaced by our condo handyman, but the springs are the only thing that is rusting. Are there any springs with stainless or heavy duty aluminum springs? I do not know exactly which channel balance I need. I would like a brand new complete unit for two windows. The windows are located in bedrooms, they are non-tilt, the current channel is 1/2 inch. I have a chanell balance that I need to replace but it measures 23" (length of the metal) and there is not a stamp option like the ones described above, all I have on mine is a 2 DS 45L BSL. Good evening. I am looking to replace both channel balances on two large windows in my home. The old balances have no stamp and I am unsure of the sash weight. The DR window is approximately 50"X31" and the study window is approximately 50"X25". Single pane. The associate at Home Depot suggested a ... (cont.)

The 5 photos hopefully give you enough information to identify the channel. Windows were installed in 2001. The channels were supposed to be identical but it would appear 1 has been butchered for an unknown reason. The only marking on the channel appears to be 22 4 HR CALDWELL (but is a bit uncl ... 22 4 JO CALDWELL Thats the only markings on the window slide/lift assist. I've been searching online, but its been entirely unsuccessful, sites end up directing me towards all sorts of irrelevant parts and pieces. I need to replace the block and tackle devices on two windows. The first device has a designation 22 4 IQ Caldwell the second designation is 24 4 EQ Caldwell.I wish to replace both devices for each of two windows.I will attach photos of the plastic ends.
