Hi, the spring is about 27 inches long. Window sash weights about 22 pounds. The springs shows numbers 26 9 JW CMC 7. Can you tell me what part to purchase as a replacement?

Hello, I have a Mercer window and need to replace the broken window balance. Can you please help me identify the correct part number? Thank you.

I'm looking for a suitable replacement for this window balance. It measures 27" long (end-to-end of the metal frame only), 9/16" wide, and about 5/8" deep. The only markings read as follows: "(03/9) UNIQUE 26-E-50." Thanks for the help!

My Milgard window sash is difficult to lift open and slides back down when I let go of it. I suspect the channel balances need replacement, although I don't see any obvious problems with them. I'm pretty sure I need Product Code S385-27 2630 *; but want to be certain before ordering. Sash weighs 18 lbs. Metal channel is 27". Shoe is 1 3/32" deep.
