S385-27 27" Series 385 Channel Balance

Channel length: 27 inches Stamp: 26 4 GW CMC 7 Manufacturer: Milgard (approximately 2003) One balance definitely needs replacing. But I have heard I should replace the other balance too. Therefore two needed.

Home was built in the early 90s. They are 1/2 wide and 27" long.

The part measures 27 inches, 26 4 GN Caldwell

I need this window balance.

As seems common, my channel balance string broke. I'd like to replace the balance and have a couple of spares on hand too. The number on my balance is "26 3 DX CMC 7". There are no other markings on it. The metal channel measures exactly 27 inches in length.

Hello. I was just at a property where an elderly lady has damaged balancers that are no longer functional. Here is the number from the part. It is labeled as 26 4 Caldwell JL. I have Milgard windows. I have 2 window channel balances that are broken. One is 33 inches long and stamped 32-4. It is 5/8 depth and 1/2 inch width. It has winged upper and lower parts.
