The numbers stamped on the balance are 27-3 DL5 CMC 43. I would think this would be a 27" balance but the metal piece measures 28" top to bottom not including the accessories. The sash weighs about 17 lbs. Can you help with a replacement(s).

WINGED CHANNEL BALANCE SHOE is okay on 28" Series 385 Channel Balance with my 27 4 fl caldwell

The length of metal is 28", the width is 1/2", the boot is 1 1/8" deep and top is 1/2" deep with phalanges. From what I can tell, I need the 28" Series 395. Does that sound correct? not sure which ones match these. couldnt find any other numbers beside one in photo. Also want to order any other parts that go on the window. There was like top clips that screwed on to window as well.

Dear Swisco I am about to order a couple of balances. I also need a couple of sash guides and did not see a picture like what I have. It is 5/8" width and just over 1 11/16 long. Stamp as pictured: 27 4 bsi 00 The width (or height) of bigger plastic piece is a little over 1" which apparently requires different channel than if it was exactly 1" -relevant according to one of your posts. Weight of window is 23 lbs. Whole window size is about 34"x58" Thanks, Jeff ... (cont.)
