Existing patio door (7 years old) has dual point mortise lock and is jamming -- can't get the door open sometimes. Your replacement looks like the same lock. Since it is a double lock, I can't get the door open be lifting out of track.... Is there any way to force the lock open if it freezes? Before ... (cont.)

We'd like to replace he attached sliding glass door handle with a new handle with a keyed lock. We believe the handle and door were manufactured by Simonton in 2020. Suggested replacement (with fewest required alterations)? Thanks!

There was no identifiable information of the brand for this lock. It looks like a Swissco but it does not say. The lever for the lock had broken off. Any information would be appreciated.
