I'm trying to find the right replacement balance. The original balance is 37" long and has the number 3630 stamped near the bottom of the balance.

I would like to order a pair of window balances to replace broken ones. Here are several pictures of the old balance. It is 29in stamped 28-D so a 2840. This balance is mounted on (in) the window. No clips on the frame. Bottom is 7/8 deep.

Metal portion is 21 inches long and 1/2 wide. This is a pass thru window from the kitchen to the patio that blew out during hurricane Milton. I bought this house used and these are contractor grade windows, I don't know who makes them. The metal/metal length is 29". The channel is 9/16" wide and 9/16" deep. Both balance top and shoe are winged. I think the balance top is probably a 19-005. As for the shoe, I think it resembles a 15-029. D ... (cont.)

Hello, trying to identify my window balance. Hopefully the pictures I've provided will help. The only words I see stamped on the balance are 28 4 DP CALDWELL(or 2B 4 DPCALDWELL). The metal channel is 29"

Ugh! Plastic parts at one end is missing/damaged, 23-inch metal, 2230 labeling, snapshot of installed channel balance is from a similarly sized window in my house (plastic part show is 7/8-inch wide). Balance is 1/2 in width (9/16th) and 29" long. It's marked on one side with 28B USB They are non tilt windows. I'm not sure the exact weight of the window.

Dear SwiscoI want to order parts however cannot figure out the part numbers. Want to replace the channel balances and top sash guides. Metal part of the channel balance is 37 inches. There is a number 3650 on the side of the channel balance.Much appreciated.Francois

I have to replace several window channel springs. My current ones are 37 inches, 3635 stamped on the outside. Pretty sure your S385-37 Option 3640 would work? It comes with the 19-005 top, but the bottom of my current ones is your 15-029. Can I get the S385-37 3640 with a 15-029 bottom? OR do I ... (cont.)

I seem to have the same problem with Channel Balance marked 3635. I assume they were special order for a local Builder (Divosta) who built thousands of homes with Norandex windows.
