Good morning could you please tell me the name of this part that the string goes through to hold window up. I do not know make or year of window.

15-yr old windows. uses coiled springs to support wooden tilt sashes. some sashes will not stay open. house is one of 62 in comdominium with approx 32 of these double hung of these windows in each. I need a dozen of these plastic fittings and have no idea who makes them. I also have to find out how to remove and replace them. I would appreciate any help you can provide. Brian

this plastic piece measures 1/2 x 1/2 x 2 3/8. The hook that the spring attaches to has broken off. It simply attaches to the spring via the hook and slides in the plastic track. The window is a double hung vinyl clad wood window that tilts.

Hello! None of the double-hung windows in my house will stay up. It seems that the balance springs have all sprung - because almost all of the clips shaped like this have broken. HI, One of our repair men is trying to fix the balancer on a Double hung wood window. Please see attached photos for sizing of piece. I bought a house that has some window sashes that don't stay up. Here is the photo showing spring and nylon part connected to it. Should the nylon part be connected to the sash? If so, how? I can't find anything online with this nylon part.Thanks,Kirk

Double hung window lift plate connects bottom of window to lift coil spring. Broken for both sashes on six windows and looking for replacement parts. I am a contractor in Cornelius NC, and I am trying to repair the counterbalance spring hardware for a customer's wood double hung windows. These springs and clips are installed inside a plastic window track. Would you have access to this hardware?thanks,Jon

Cannot find any info on the windows. The spring that attaches is 20" long.
