Marking on one of two springs says 5.5#, 33". I need 6 of these to repair 3 windows. Including posts. Post is 3 inches long with hole at 2 inches. Thanks for helping me be sure what I need to order

Both springs are feed down one side to the shoe

Stamped on the cover: Part# 801020, Patent #'s 5.232.208, 5.365.638.6.584.644 B2 Coil is 1/2" wide, cover is 3" long and 1 1/4" wide Stamped on coil is #3.5 35" P First photo taken before I removed it from the window.

The white plastic cover for the flat coil-based balance spring has weakened in the sun, causing it to crack, making it difficult to open and close the double hung window. I have double hung windows with with 2 coils to each constant force spring housing. The top coil has stamped on it 6.5 PAT5 8. The bottom coil has a 3 stamped on it. Both coils measure right at 0.496 inches diameter using a caliper. The top coil thickness is @ 0.181 inches. The bottom coil is @ 0.15 ... (cont.)

I have an American Craftsman series 70. Size52x37. I need a balance coil for the left side (looking out). the coil is supported by part # 801020. Not sure what the lb. coil it takes. Will it be OK to replace just the one side? Thank you for any assistance.
