75-005 Spiral Balance Charging Tool for Non-tilt Windows

I need to repair multiple windows like this. The spiral has fallen down. Not sure if I need a new cylinder. It appears that all i need is the bottom piece, but I'm not sure and not sure how to "recharge" the spring.

This is for an aluminum window. This piece goes in on the bottom of the window corner to hold the balance in place. It looks like the end of the balance clips in there and it keep the balance in place and from falling out of the window frame. It has a white plastic piece that it seems goes around it ... (cont.)

I need to replace an old spiral balance for a non-tilt window. It is 5/8 in diameter. The tube length is 17". When the spring is fully inserted into the tube it protrudes 1-3/4". The old mechanism didn't work, and I can't find a replacement. I need help with what kind to buy from you.The sash is 31 1/2 inches tall, the channels are 5/8 " wide and 3/4" deep. It weighs 10 pounds. The sash is shown in place and removed.

Single Hung NON-tilt window. Balance on either side broken, or the catch to hold the balance in place is broken. the window will not stay up when opened. Do you have repair/replacement parts?

Dear Swisco, Thank you for your help. Aluminum window, single hung, balance diameter looks to be 1/2 inches, length is 29 inches, bottom of balance are rusted off, no shoe found in the window, Here are a few pictures,

We have 10 single hung alum windows with 3/8" tubular spiral balances. The window locks say Jacobson on the window latch. The house was built in 2003 for a couple in their 70's at the time.
