I have some shoes/guides or balances that need replacing.Took out balances out of one window and it looks like I have 2 different size balances. The window is a gapco w/ visible glass of the lower sash is 31 3/16" X 27" frame size is approx 36 x 60 and the #s on balance are 2730 and 2720.Let me the ... (cont.)

i need to replace the channel balance in several windows. Please see attached photos. All of my windows have the balance 283088081P which is 29 inches. Looks like someone replace 2 of them in two separate windows with the 274000H which is only 28 inches.I don't know the brand of windows but I watche ... (cont.)

I need to purchase 3 sets of replacements. The windows are Milgard; home built 1989. Current balances measure 27" with 1/2" wide channel. I am not sure which replacement to go with. Please advise. Thank you Maria

channel balance for acorn single hung non tilt. 1981. 29" not including shoe or top. 3/8" wide.280 stamp on metal. also needs 1 1/4 + inch flat clips to insert in window frame. The number 28C is stamped on channel not 280 as I previously noted. Also BS1 BV is stamped

24" Channel Balance Identification is this S371-2320? The outside dimensions of the shoe and top seem right but the top part 19-031 does not have the middle divider that the tab in the track may require. Please identify. Thanks.

I have read posts regarding these clips. After they are installed, and used to remove and replace the old channel balances, can they be easily removed? It appears that the number "23-5" indicates the balance number (23) and the spring gauge number (5) indicating that it is designed for a 22-27 lb window, which seems right. My window balances are stamped 26 3 BSI OH is that sufficient to identify them or do I need to remove, measure, take photos? The removal clips are broken and I've just ordered some extras, so I can't remove them to measure, photograph, etc today.

Channel Balance for Caldwell Window. 19 4 HK Caldwell is stamped on the side of the balance. Plastic clips are also missing. Window measure 45 inches wide and 22.5 tall. Do you have replacement balances and clips? Is a screen made for this size window available?

How I determine my sash weight? If I buy a pair of lifts that are for a higher sash weight than I actually need would it be detrimental?
