I have a Malta double hung window ( 1987) and the clips that hold the balance springs have rusted out but the springs are good. Do you have those clips that clip at the base and hold down the springs?

Hello, I am trying to replace a 14 yr old Caldwell channel balance and I need your help please? Picture# 1087 shows the part# printed on the channel. The other pictures show the top and bottom clips. The number stamped on the part is 26 4 BSI PO (also included in an attached image. The channel length is 27 inches, width 9/16 (1/2) and opposite width is 5/8. I am interested in purchasing a replacement channel and one take out clip.

The length of the metal portion without the clips is 25 inches. I need to buy a large quantity as well as a lot of take out clips. 2430

the take out clips are "missing" (got disengaged) on both sides. the left side is off. the right side is normal for the channel balances. the window won't close all the way. the sash is stuck.

I have 2 windows that have counter balance problems. The channel balance falls from the window even though I followed the video. As I lift the window up- the channel balance falls. Do I need to change the whole part or just the guides w/ rivet parts. Please advise Thanks

Can the "take out clips" be replaced easily. I have a window that has 2 that are missing. I am hoping they just snap right in to the frame from the inside. correct? I have the sliver ones that are in the video how would I get the correct part number?

I pulled 6 channel balances out of 3 windows. Four of them are numbered 2240Z and two are numbered 2240. The 2240Z's appear to be newer.
