I need to order replacement channel balances for 3 sliding windows. I uploaded pictures. The numbers stamped in the metal were 27 4 for the 28 inch channel balance (need four of these), and 30 2 for the 31 inch channel balance (need 2 of these). My balance does not match any of the numbers you show. My balance is for a CWS window made in Ocala Florida. only markings on it are 28 5 odBSI. it is 28 inches long. Your balance S380-28 matches the ends of my balance just not sure of the weight of the springs. It is a non tilting window. ... (cont.)

28" Channel Balance. This is for a non tilt window. The balance is 1/2" wide. It has markings on side "BSI" stamped horizontally and "27 C" below it going lengthwise. Pictures 627 and 628 show one end. picture 629 shows other end.

HI, I need to replace broken aluminum windows sash balances. I ordered 2 pieces a couple of moths ago, but they did not match the originals. The part I order is S371-28. Hi i am looking for a replacement channel balance for the channel balance in the picture. Dimensions are 28 inches long (not including the plastic parts at the end) and channel with is 1/2 inch wide. Balance is 28" long and is stamped with 27 4 CALDWELL HM. Pictures include both ends including the stamped information provided. I will need a total of 4 balances for 2 windows. Bottom shoe looks like 15-004 and top shoe is similar to 19-002 but has wings as shown in picture

I believe this is S380-28. Does that look right? Just make sure that 28" is the length of the metal bar, because that's how we determine the length of the balance.

The only marking I found said "28 4 DL Caldwell". I measured the metal part and it was almost 28 inches (not including the plastic ends).

Hi! I need balances for 5 windows. My measurement for the width for the balances is 5/8. The balance is 28 inches. The window pane is 34 inches x 29 inches. I attaching a picture of a patio door handle also. Please let me know what to order. Thank You!

Need 4 channel balance and 10 plastic part connected to window

The balance is about 28 inches long. I would also need the plastic part that goes on each end of the balance.

Need to replace channel balances on Alenco window. It has 2730 stamped on it. Would it be easier to lift the window if replaced with 2740? Also, the weather strips in the top window needs replacing. What do I need for that? Part no.?

This balance is a 1/2 in channel, 28 in length, with the 1 in 15-005 shoe. So, it looks like the Series 380. However, I do not see an option for a 2780 stamp weight (over 40lbs?). Is this rating available? -- Thanks

Hi, we have sunair channel balance stamped 2740 . So we ordered S380-28 for 2740. One side went okay, but other side got broken during installation. My hasband weight window sash , it was 20lb. Hi, I don't see any markings on the channel balance except one of them says 2740. Looking at the pics do I need S380 channel balance or something other. What other parts would I need to order. Attaching picture. Very much apprecaite your help.
