Channel balance stamp is 28 3 EW CMC 11. Is 11 the sash weight?

Length of the metal is 28 inches. The markings on top show "27 2 HI".

I am looking for balancers and sash guides for an double hung non-tilt window of unknown brand. The balancer is stamped with 27 4 CALDWELL DM and measures 28" from end to end, excluding the plastic ends. Pictures are attached to show the balancer and the ends. Hi, I need to purchase two window balances. They are 28 inches long by 1/2 wide. I need 19-005 top and 15-005 shoe. I am having a issue figuring out what weight I need. The stamp on the side of the balance is: 27 9 36# El Caldwell What weight do I need? Does that mean I need 3

I ordered two track S385-28 (option 2740) to replace the ones I have labeled as 27-4 with wide 1/2" and thickness as 17/32. It appears that I ordered the wrong ones. The new tracks appear to be thicker than mine. The thickness of mine is 17/32", the S385-28 are 5/8". You can see the big difference. ... (cont.)

I need two 28" assembled window balances. There is a stamped marking 2740 H.F on it . Looking at your website it looks like your 28" Series 385 Channel Balance option 2740 will fit . But I think the shoe is 15-005. The shoe is 1 " like that in your catalog page 'Channel-Balance-Shoe/pd/Replaceme ... (cont.)

Need to confirm the proper replacement channel balance for our non-tilt window. Metal channel measures 28" with fixed shoe and top. The channel is marked "27 4 LP Caldwell" I believe the shoe is a 15-004 (however the measure is 1 1/32, not the 1 3/32 your detail shows) and the top is a 19-005, ... (cont.)

I'm not absolutely sure if my channel balance is the S380-28 (2740), because it has hemmed edges a tension adjustment screw on bottom guide, and the 15-005 winged shoe I ordered just broke when I tried to push it in.
