I need a couple of replacement balances and have been able to identify the closest replacement in the S380-28. I have two size windows 46 x 57 and 22 x 57 they both have 27 4 KO Caldwell channel balances this does not seem correct to me. Is there a formula for this? The windows are dual pane.I do not have access to weight the windows now that I am in a different city.

I note that when I order the 2730 and 2740 options they default to the same replacement balance (S380-28). When I order 16 total (but only 8 of each respectively), I note that the price doesn't reflect the quantity discount. Are there actually any differences in the 2730 & 2740 options? If not, s ... I have a 16" series 380 balance with stamp "1540X" and a 28" Series 380 balance with stamp "2730Z". Are the replacements simply "1540" and "2730" respectively?

For Series 380 balances when stamped 28D the 2840 is the match, however, the 2840 stamp will be on a balance measuring 29", not 28".
