S600-29 29" Series 600 Spiral Tilt Window Balance

The customer has single hung windows in a Maronda home. Believe they are Imperial windows. The lower sash is 33" wide by 30" tall, it does tilt. The balances are 29" long, and they are 5/8" balances. I am not sure of the weight of the window, and the existing balances are not red, or blue, they look ... (cont.)

Can I use a blue in place of the red as long as I?m within the weight parameters? Is the blue more durable/heavy duty than the red?

I need a spiral balance tube. Mine is 3/8" diameter and is 28 3/8" long from the top to the spiral right where the nylon tip is attached. The tip is white in color. Do you have this one or will the 28" or 29" work? What tip color?

It is for the windows of an apartment. The window height is 30 1/2 inches. I think the tip is blue. What is the length of the spiral balance I should choose? Also, how can I lubricate the window because it is difficult to slide it. Thanks in advance. Robert

This is what I have in my windows. It looks like the units on the web site except mine has that spring added to it. The tube on the end is approx 12 inches long. The spring is approx 17 inches long. The window balance has a black tip and the tube measures approx. 28 3/4 inches long and 5/8 inch tube OD... What should I use for the correct spiral counter balance??

The window does not stay open. I checked the sash shoes. I think they are fine. So I am going to change a couple of the window balances. '29" SERIES 600 SPIRAL TILT WINDOW BALANCE' can be compatible with my window balance? Thank you.

Window is 70.5 x 34 White tube is 28.75 in long White tube + metal is 30 in long Black tip Tube diameter is 3/8 (I think) Kristi
