S180-04 4 lbs Series 180 Coil Balance

Hi I need this pivot shoes cover which is cracked. It had two 4 lb constant force balances in it. If this is not available can I replace it with a single 8 lb pivot shoe. Thank you. Renzo

I am trying to figure out what balance coil I need. It has two springs/coils in each one. I don't know how to remove them. Do I need to notch the window frame as in a U tube video?Sorry there is no name on the window. Help!

Hello here is a photo of one of the two constant force springs that i need (left and right) the bottom window weight is 17.5 LBS the numbers on the springs are 5.15x and 4.16x i hope this can help in identifying the correct parts Thank You Marc,

This is what came out of my window sash. Note the upper housing has a piece missing from it. Looks like the bottom is 4lb and the top is 5lb, there were numbers on the springs that did correspond with the casings. I ordered the S210-14 and it looked pretty close to the one I had bought the thickness on the old one is 9/16 ,the S210-14 is thicker. I have a window that was purchased 15 years ago. I need to replace the tape balances. The manufacturer at the time was Optimum. They are no longer in business. I need balance shoes as above, almost 9/16 (35/64?) x 1 1/4 x 2 7/16. Windows weigh 8 lb, are 19 1/2" and 20 1/2".
