Called and spoke to Mike earlier on the balance coils (both sides)for a Simonton 5000 series Vinyl window. I have some pics attached part number on the coil is 4055 most likely no help. If these are not good enough let me know what you need to see. Thanks, TomR

Hi, Can you tell who the manufacturer of the window is by the attached pictures. A spring on the upper window broke and also the stop on the lower. Not sure if these are universal parts, or I need to order by manufacturer? I have the actual part (broken) at home... Thanks!

The attached photos are from a window installed in 2004. I believe its an American Craftmen's, installed by Home Depot. Is this part available and/or can this window be repaired?

Thanks for writing in. This looks like our 15-192 Pivot Shoe. This shoe is compatible with our Series 170 and Series 171 Coil Springs. If you had more than one coil spring per side, the Series 171 stacks on top of the Series 170. The stamp '408' indicates that is likely a S170-408, which a coil spri ... (cont.)

Here is a picture of my coil spring balance on my window. It is a single coil that is 3/4 inch wide. The only number marked on it is 10. Would this indicate a 10 lb spring? Since it is only a single coil would I need a short coil? Also, this is for a single hung window. Any other information t ... (cont.)

Both coil balance springs broke on a Certainteed double hung window. The only number I see stamped on the coil is 10. Is there a Model S170-410? or will a S170-409 be compatible. GM

I need shoe and coil spring for a windows #A186160 is stamped on the shoe it self.

As you see in the photos, the plastic piece is broken. I am looking for a replacement. It is off of a Norandex/Reynolds window 33 x 43 1/2 Prism Platinum White Double Hung Window.. Hi I need to replace the coil balance in window the existing coil balance stamped #407 under this #it loos like the letter j would I use you part # S170-407.

So it seems that I have a bunch of broken balances for my windows. The housing and coil are for the most part intact, but the plastic holder and metal toggle part that the window sash clips into is broken. Trying to figure out where I can get this part

I'm looking for a pivot shoe for a Simonton window from 2008. The windows are double hung and tilt for cleaning. The metal part isn't flat in the shoe & every one I'm finding online looks flat. Thanks!
