Hi there. I have the same system and I purchased the 15-192 : CertainTeed Pivot Shoe to replace. Unfortunately the female cylinder cutout inside is not large enough to fit the male window piece. I asked this question on another page but can't find it now to give you more info. I found printed on the spring 408L. There is a number 7 molded into one of the shoes so I'm not sure if it is a 7 lb or an 8 lb? I assume the 140?

PRISM windows? It says prism on the locks. The windows were here when I moved in so I don't know how old. I would say 15 yrs. I think they are suppose to be in one piece not 2. Window came slamming down out of nowhere. Thank you

Window is a white double hung Simonton that is about 20 years old. Plastic that holds the spring cracked. Window got stuck. Number on spring is 408. Hello, I am looking for replacement sliders and what appear to be some sort of stops for our window. With these broken, when we unlatch window, top section of window crashes down.

trying to find replacement parts (photos attached). The acrylic holder of the round metal "drum" shaped piece which the window bars slot into has broken into two halves on several windows. Called and spoke to Mike earlier on the balance coils (both sides)for a Simonton 5000 series Vinyl window. I have some pics attached part number on the coil is 4055 most likely no help. If these are not good enough let me know what you need to see. Thanks, TomR

Hi, Can you tell who the manufacturer of the window is by the attached pictures. A spring on the upper window broke and also the stop on the lower. Not sure if these are universal parts, or I need to order by manufacturer? I have the actual part (broken) at home... Thanks!

The attached photos are from a window installed in 2004. I believe its an American Craftmen's, installed by Home Depot. Is this part available and/or can this window be repaired?

Thanks for writing in. This looks like our 15-192 Pivot Shoe. This shoe is compatible with our Series 170 and Series 171 Coil Springs. If you had more than one coil spring per side, the Series 171 stacks on top of the Series 170. The stamp '408' indicates that is likely a S170-408, which a coil spri ... (cont.)

Here is a picture of my coil spring balance on my window. It is a single coil that is 3/4 inch wide. The only number marked on it is 10. Would this indicate a 10 lb spring? Since it is only a single coil would I need a short coil? Also, this is for a single hung window. Any other information t ... (cont.)

Both coil balance springs broke on a Certainteed double hung window. The only number I see stamped on the coil is 10. Is there a Model S170-410? or will a S170-409 be compatible. GM

I need shoe and coil spring for a windows #A186160 is stamped on the shoe it self.

As you see in the photos, the plastic piece is broken. I am looking for a replacement. It is off of a Norandex/Reynolds window 33 x 43 1/2 Prism Platinum White Double Hung Window..
