Window balance for 25 year old Atrium wood windows

Hi! I need balances for 5 windows. My measurement for the width for the balances is 5/8. The balance is 28 inches. The window pane is 34 inches x 29 inches. I attaching a picture of a patio door handle also. Please let me know what to order. Thank You!

old aluminum windows 34*31 Channel balance see pic 1/2 I assume metal is what is measured for the length 29 ? Number inside on metal pic 3 S8 3 11 ? Please advise on which Channel balance ( complete set ) I have to order from you Cant upload pictures ..??

Need 4 channel balance and 10 plastic part connected to window

It feels like something is obstructing it which leaves a 1" gap at the bottom. Works all the way up just doesn't go down all the way. Can't find anything blocking the channels.

Bought a new house. Windows dont work well. Found out balance springs were replaced with wrong tensions (or that is at least what nice Home Depot employee told me)....BUT I dont know what to replace them with. I have balances that say 18-19" and a stamp on one that says 1840. Do you have these and what in the order info I would need?

hello my balance is stamped 24-b thats all it says anywhere. it measures 25" long not including tips 26.5" with end tips and its 9/16 wide, if that measurement doesnt exsist than its 1/2" wide. the windows are 70s or 80s aluminum windows and one of the handles reads vista view, if thats any help. th ... Please see posted pictures. I measure the ones I removed, and they are 28" in length and 1/2" wide. Could you please give me the correct replacement part number.Weight of the sash 19 lbs. Window were made by Pacific Windows and installed in 2003. The steel channel measures 28" long and is stamped BSI 27 4 00. Window weight is 26 lbs. Thanks, Dave

Hello! We are replacing the channel balances for 2 windows (one is 25 in and one is 28 inch channel balance). By looking at the pictures on line I think they are 380 series (please correct me if I am wrong). I took the sliding windows off and weight the window as well. The smaller windows is 24 ... (cont.)

I have a few windows that have a 28" Series 385 channel balance with a 2790 stamp. The actual sash weight is 19lbs and 32lbs what model should I choose, 2740 and 2760?

The balance is about 28 inches long. I would also need the plastic part that goes on each end of the balance.

Hi! I do know that my window is a PGT. That is about all I know though. The photos show the channel still attached ( I don't know how to take it off ) and the cover. Also, the plastic piece needs replacing that keeps it in place. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Hello. My channel balance has broken. It has the stamp 27 14L and then in little print 02 asi. It is 28" long. When it was working, it was hard to lift the window. Does the 14L mean 14 lbs? If it was hard to open, should I get a stronger channel balance.

Hello I need help finding a replacement for my window channel balance,this is from a non tilt window. The width is half inch with a length of 28 inches. I have supplied some pictures of my channel balance.

I have to replace this part in 5 of my windows (both sides)and I know they are 28" but I am having a hard time figuring out the model (I don't see any number on them)could you assist me with that? I also need some take put clips that have broken.
