S385-28 28" Series 385 Channel Balance

My old balance is stamped 27 4 CU CMC 4. It seems that balance isn't made anymore. I believe I could use a replacement from SWISSCO, choosing 27" length, 9/16" width channel with winged guides and a 1 3/32 shoe depth, but what weight/strength should I choose?

I would like to know if you had this type of window balancer available it's a 27-4. For a single hung window.

I believe I need a pair of 28" window balances, with 27-5 stamping, and no wings top guide and with wings bottom guide, is that correct?

Shoe width: 1-1/16" Metal Length: 28" Stamp: "27 5"

Had one spring cord break and need to replace balance. Non-tilt sash. 28" measured channel. Stamp says 86A 27-4 BA2 CMC 7. Will S385-28 (2740) work or do I need something different?

Hello! I need to find a replacement window balancer - I've included the only markings I can find - and the metal measures about 1/2" wide and about 28" long if that helps at all. Thank you!

Metal 28 inches by 1/2 inch weight of window is 10.4 lbs unit has wings on both ends

I could not find the 2740 on the website and was wondering if the number had changed. I don't have a way to weigh the window so I'm not quite sure and was hoped that the weight was intrinsically built into this 2740 number

On jpeg _0193 it looks like the numbers 27 3 And the letters PS I and then a letter P perpendicular to the other letters. The length of the balance metal end to metal end was approximately 28".

I am looking to replace some defective channel balances. Photos of one of them is attached. The channel balance without the plastic end pieces is 28 inches long. On the side of the balances, there are codes "27 4 HW CMC 7" and "27 4 GW CMC 11".Any help is greatly appreciated!!Chuck ... (cont.)
