My old balance is stamped 27 4 CU CMC 4. It seems that balance isn't made anymore. I believe I could use a replacement from SWISSCO, choosing 27" length, 9/16" width channel with winged guides and a 1 3/32 shoe depth, but what weight/strength should I choose?

On jpeg _0193 it looks like the numbers 27 3 And the letters PS I and then a letter P perpendicular to the other letters. The length of the balance metal end to metal end was approximately 28".
