I received the series 140 quick tilt balance kit. I watched the video with the needing a cutout. The video doesn't show where to make the cut out for the upper balance/shoe kit. We have a few windows that have become un-openable. Upon further examination, we see that the shoe has broken on one and the pivot bars have broken completely off on another. There's a third window with the pivot bar broken off into the shoe.

Seems like the spring coil is broken on our Catalina SH Window H-R20-4896. The window will not stay open. What is the cost of the replacement part?

Are there any more narrow versions of the s140- 13? I am unable to cram the parts into the channel. Here is what I have the one on the other side is completely gone except for the boot and coils.

Hello, I bought the S140-13 Quick Tilt Balance thinking it would be a drop in replacement/upgrade for my broken coil balance. So far it seems the width and depth are about right (haven't fully tested the fit yet). Unfortunately when I tested the fit of the sash pivot, the S140 shoe is just a ... (cont.)

The pivot lock shoe that I need has no markings other than a patent # 6378169. It is completely white with a metal rotating piece. Riding in the window track are 2 wound metal springs. Hope you can help, thanks Joel
