15-259 Coil Balance Pivot Shoe

I have two coil balances on 2 identical windows with broken pivot shoes. One is the right side and the other is on the left side. They are 1 1/4 wide and the coil spring attaches to the pivot shoe with a screw. Could you please recommend a suitable replacements? Thanks!

I have already received parts for my smaller windows from SWISCO, they used an 8.5 lb spring. THis window is much larger and the original manufacture used 3 springs in tandum as you can see, All the other parts are the same, so do I just use a stronger spring for use with this window or do i need a ... I need to replace 3 coils because the shoe broke. I also need to replace 3 pivot bars. I don't have part number but the coils appear to be 3 to a set. The window sash weights approximittely 38 pounds. I don't know if I can purchase just the coil that connects to the shoe housing or if I need th ... (cont.)

I have 2 Simonton replacement windows that have recently snapped. Here are some pictures of one of the broken counterweights and one that is still in tact. These are both from upper windows.

Hi: I have a single hung CertainTeed Vinyl window. The left side counterbalance spring seems to have broken so the window won't stay up in intermediate positions. I'm looking to replace a few broken window closures. These are simonton windows about 10-15 years old. Some of the smaller windows are single spool but the bigger ones are duel spool.

My window won't stay up and I think I need to replace these small plastic parts and the box thing that they go into. One of the small plastic pieces broke and left part of it in the box and won't come out. The other box has a plastic piece that didn't break but is still stuck in there. Both also h ... (cont.)

I am having difficulty locating this part, the isn't a part number on it and I don't know the window manufacturer. If you can help me that would be great.

I have assignment in the windows looking for the slider for my double hung window Number in inc on the back plastic is 667

The angled area is 5/8 inch; 3/16 inch screw hole; 12 windings of the coil; 3/4 inch wide; 1 1/4 inch overall diameter. I don't know if I am a "quick learner" or not but that is what I selected.... Anyway thanks for your assistance .

Hello,    I'm interested in purchasing parts for my Sears windows I purchased about 20 years ok. They have coil springs with pivot lock shoes. It looks like a simple repair for numerous of windows !! Thank you   Mike

hi. I cannot find any numbers or names on these broken pieces. the windows themselves say simonton on the locks. clearly the metal 'spring' has snapped! can you please help me figure out which parts I need to order to replace and make our windows work again!

I have certainteed vinyl single hung windows. Both coils have a 6 on them. Sash weighs 15lbs. I see what appears to be a exact match for the shoe and springs. Just want to be sure.

Would be thrilled if you can pin this down- we did try the SWISCO replacement but it has plastic ridges on the side so didn't sit flush. We also tried the WRS which fit well, but the metal lock piece was too narrow. See picture but our window piece wouldn't install into it even with some pressure. ... (cont.)

Hi, Amazing videos on how to remove and replace coil window balance systems and shoes. I was able to remove the broken pieces, but having a hard time figuring out what I should order as replacement.
