Hi there, I have a vinyl double hung window that does not stay open. Upon removing the sashe I found the springs on both sides broken. Hi. Our windows are about 24 years old. They are in great shape, but the internal plastic parts have become ridged and break easily. That?s especially a problem with the rotating mechanism that attaches to the coil. Many thanks for and help you can provide!

I have older vinyl windows that have had the coil balances fail. I need to replace these. Some are double coil and others single. There is no service opening to remove these. The windows are DH in a modular home built in eastern PA. The shoe is 9/16" thick x 1 1/4" wide. The window is about 38 x 56. Another window with single coil is 29 x 36. Sorry, I did not measure the coil balance, but I will need them also. I did not find any identifying numbers.
