I am looking for slider guide clips (plastic or nylon) for Milco aluminum single hung, tilt windows. The balances are red spiral and the two tabs on the balance connect to the guide clips. Good Morning. Two questions: 1- It is obvious that my pivot shoes are broken, but how do I know its time to replace the spiral balance rods? 2-Is it advisable to lubricant the spiral balances and/or in the pivot shoe slots? If, yes, what is the best lube? Thanks

I have carefree windows from 1999. It appears my pivot stops have failed, prolly due to operator error. I can't get the spirals to stay attached to the pivot block. Are there replacement blocks I can get.
