For a single hung tilt out window Car# 199-134 Model sh-500 vinyl single hung dp-60

Windows are prob about 25 yrs old and still work ok. Love to fix this one and learn how to replace balance mechanism. Thanks much,Martin

The replacement windows in this house Winchester ind Bristol I need to replace 22" spiral tilt red tip balancer. The rod extension is 1 1/2". Most I see are 7/8". Do you have the 1 1/2. Looking to replace the balances. white plastic tube covers measure 34 3/4" and they seem to be 1/2' round. S600-35, black tip I believe are the balances.Also need the pivot shoes. I have a customer needing 4 spiral window balances pictured below. They are 3/8? diameter but they have a white tip. Length of tube is 28-1/2?. Also need shoes for these which measure 1-1/4? wide x 2? tall and are ½? thick. Please let me know what you have for this.

The rods come with a white grease smeared (inside the tube) on the metal spiral. It means you won't need to lubricate the balances again for two to five years.Charging is necessary to get the balance to provide the right amount of lift.
