I live in Central Florida and my porch windows were manufactured by Seasonshield (later bought by JeldWen). Many (practically all) the top stop caps have become brittle from the heat and need replacing. Are you familiar with this brand and do I need to replace all the channel guides as well? I am no ... The channel balances say 31 5 EX CMC 4. There were no balance retainers in place so I'm not sure which one's I need. Thanks for the help.

Hello, The only thing it says on my balancer is 27-4, and from what I can tell, these look like a 28" Series 395 balancer and 18-008 Sash guide. Could you confirm the model I need to replace the balancer and sash guide in the attached pics? Thanks, Tim

The window in my home doesn't go up because when I removed sash I found out theyre missing. That is some of the remains label and I'm hoping you can help identify the channel balances.

34 4 kw cmc 7 35 inch balance 27 lb. window Won't stay up. The balances are not staying in window.Only thing on back of balance is a metal clip at bottom of balance.

Hi- my aluminum windows have no take out clips to remove the balances. ALSO, those two square holes to pop in the take out clips are not there. Instead, there is just one small screw hole. Is there an alternate take-out clip that screws in, instead of the pop-in type? Thanks! Daniel ... (cont.)
