I have a 31.5lb window, well I really have 4, all needing new series 385 balances. The 2850 tops out at 32, so I would be maxing it out. I will go with the 2860 for its 32 to 35lb range. My question is will the window raise any easier with the few extra pounds of lift? Also, just out of curiosity ... (cont.)

Hi, I just ordered 4 new channel balances from your company. I watched the video on replacement. What do I do if there are no take out clips on my windows. Is this normal. Hello, I need three new balances for my Viking vinyl windows. They are about 12 years old. the part number on the old balances is #1740. alo, I need an extra clip that sits in the window channel and holds the balance when removing the window. Thanks very much. Fred

We have Atrium metal single hung windows where one of the spring balance has fallen down. Hello, I need to find out what balancer I need,I'm having a hard time identifying the top and bottom shoes of balancer. Its 1/2 " wide and 32 1/8 " long and has a 3120 stamp on it. My window has a round hole where the take out clip should be installed. Since I can not install take out clip 16-002, what do you use to hold the channel balance when you install a new one? How do you take out the old one if you have to replace it?
