We have a small frosted bathroom window, and the sash mechanism is broken. I can't find a brand name sticker on the window. Vinyl, approx 21"x17" verticle slide up side load. I took off a broken block & tackle balance in a 20-yer in Milgard window sash. I easured it: its metal channel is 33" long, it is 1/2" wide (actually measures 9/16"), it has a printed stamp on it reading "32-4" and both plastic ends have wings. Mine are 27-7/8" not sure if it's just 28". Bought the house last year and all windows are hard to open , pitch sideways in channel, or fall closed. I need to get 4 block and tackle balances as well (pictures attached). We need 4 take out clips as well (link attached). The length measuring only the metal (not including plastic attachments) is 27". Let me know if there is any other measurements of information you may need.

The distance between the jamb hole ( Balance hook goes in) and the take out clip is about 25 inches. How a 28-inch-long sash balance will fit?
