broken sash guide
Each window has 2 of these. The windows are the same age. One just broke, so I assume the rest may break soon too. I like to order 12 of these pieces. These help the window to go up and down and stay up. They keep the spring in place.

Please verify that I have the 18-009
I was able to get pictures of a good guide from another window and it appears to be closer to the 18-009 guide but please verify.

5/8" Sash Guide?
Hi - I ordered and received sash guide #18-188. Unfortunately, these aren't working well because they are a bit too small/short. I am struggling to find the right ones. I don't know how to identify the make of my windows, I'm afraid. I have attached images with measurements and comparisons. ... (cont.)

Will 18-188 replace my Milgard part?
The part I need is very similar to the 18-188 top sash guide. It is for a Milgard window which is probably 15 years old. The sizing is exact except for 2 differences. 1. In the second picture, the depth measured at the top of the piece we have is 5/8" vs 1/2" on the 18-188 2. In the same picture ... (cont.)
