19-005 Channel Balance Top, Winged

The Balance spring is from an Alcon window. It has a part number 2910. The metal channel is 1/2 inch wide by 30 inches long. Overall length with end pieces is 31 inches. Looks like you photo of S380 or S385. I need 6 of them for 3 widows with the end pieces installed.

I had ordered the 2950 version and used them on wider/heavier windows. Attempted to use these on 25 lbs windows and they keep moving past the window back to the stop clip. I am assuming the spring is just too strong for the lighter windows. However there is a slight groove in the frame that one side ... (cont.)

The shoe is to small for the 380 or 385

I need to replace 2 channel balances for my hurricane window. Current part number: 29DS 48L Sash weight: 48lbs Channel width: 9/16" (1/2") Channel length: 30" Channel balance top: winged Channel balance shoe: winged 1 3/32" depth

Photos show length of 37", back is 1/2", side is 5/8" approximately!Stamped on channel is number "3650". Note end pieces similar to your Series 350, 380, and 385. The Series 380 appears to be best but with a different shoe. The shoe that seems to be a closer fit is #15-029 with a 7/8" deep NOT the #15-005. Do you have that channel spring that uses that shoe? Would need 2 pairs, one for a 13# sash, another for a 19# sash. Anything that can solve that prob ... (cont.)

So I know this is a 17" balance and I've found the s380-s385 that resemble it but my shoe depth is 7/8. If I get the s380 can I shave off 1/8 or do you offer a version with the 7/8 shoe?

Series 385 comes fully assembled with the 19-005 top and 15-004 (1-3/32" deep) bottom fittings attached.See 62-005 for the rivet only for replacing a top fitting.
