I'm searching for a window balance. it's 2 pieces hooked together. 4 inch length, 1.25 " width, and 9/16 " depth.

I have a double hung tilt window 45" wide x 58" tall. It does not stay open. The coil housing balance looks like it's broken on both sides. what part do I need ? Do you need more information from me to make sure I order the correct part ? Also if you can direct me to a video that shows you how ... (cont.)

I have this blue shoe. Your customer care recommended 15-086 and 15-087, but those have a black cam, and it looks a little different in size. Will this part still work? I already bought the recommended parts and I want to be sure they will fit before I call out a handyman.

I just sold my house and per the agreement have to fix a window that will not stay open. I am 95% sure it is a traco window, double hung tilt in. I was told that traco is no longer in business so i cannot get a factory replacement part. I assume it is the springs that are bad but thats a guess. ... (cont.)

Parts that have given up the ghost and I need to replace. It is a 6lb spring. It also looks like a 15-087. Also there is a adjustable screw mounted below the spring holder as you can see from the picture. Is that to hold the spring to the side. Thanks for your help.

I need to replace the balances in my window, can you tell from the pictures which I need to order?

It's a double hung window and it won't stay up unless we prop it open with a stick. There is no marking or numbers on the existing hardware.

How exactly is that used in assembelly. As my coil broke and did not notice how it was connected to coil .please advise could not find video.

The spring has 2 holes on the end that attaches to the jamb with clip-1 screw. How to release the broken piece of spring to replace with your new? No name or visible numbers. Replacement type windows with the aluminum grids Inside the glass.

The tabs at the bottom of the window broke off into the slides. How do I get replacement slides and tabs? How do I replace both? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Can you tell me where to purchase a window coil balance for a Traco 4200 double hung vinyl window? I need one coil for each side. Thank you. Dan C.

I ordered 4 - S180-5 for my Traco windows but I'm not sure they are the correct weight after comparing the new one with the old coil. I included a picture of the old coil with a stamp on it with a large number 5 and in smaller type, 37w. There is also a picture of the coil housings. The last pict ... (cont.)

these are the 2 items I need help with. One is a side latch The other part is a part that keeps the window opened. Now, I have a spring that came out of the plastic case and the door will not stay in open position.
