My sash won't stay up. The spring has become uncoiled (but not broken) but I couldn't coil it again. I have a number of windows in my home in need of replacement sash balances. The home was a new build in 2004, and the windows are double hung, wooden sash, manufactured by Bonneville Windows that became defunct about a decade ago. The bottom sash is about 29.5" wide x 22" high. It was using a single coil system on both sides. The coil snapped on both sides.
