Does the top of this balance have a clip that hooks into hole on top of window? Or does it take a screw on top to hold balance in place? I am looking for one with a clip. Please let me know. This is the window shoe lock for the balances. I need 40 as they all broke! Can you believe that? 40/66 are broken. I can send a pic if that help. Plastic is green and the base is 1 inch wide

I need to replace my pivot locking shoes and latches for 2 tilt out windows. Both of the pivot shoes and latches are broken. Balance has 28B BSI stamped in it.

I have several of these windows with broken balances, tilt latches. The actual channel is 36", spring is 20.5" from one end of hook to the other. I can't find a stamp on the channel. I do have a parts list from Plygem from a couple of years ago if it would help.

No sticker or stamp found anywhere on the windows as to who the manufacturer is. This is the balance that uses a pulley system with the spring. Stamped on the balance is "28B", "PV", and "BSIN". Please let me know if this part can still be ordered. I would need 5 of them.

Hello !! I am trying to replace a D467490 Window spring shoe. I bought 4 15-195 models and they didnt quite work. As you can see in the picture, the D467490 on left has a top hook that is narrower the the 15-195 on the right. That is keeping the 15-195 from sliding onto the spring holder clip. ... (cont.)

I have about 9 or 10 Windows that need to have the Channel Balances replaced or repaired. Some of the little plastic rollers in the block and tackle devices are broken causing the lines to stick instead of roll freely and manipulate the springs.
