I need to replace the window balances and i have Milguard single hung., Winslow windows (builder grade). The windows were installed in 1997 when house was built. The windows are 36? x60? (27? balance metal channel length) and 36? x 72? ( 32? balance metal channel length). The marking on the 32? s ... (cont.)

The window slides up and down. I believe it's called a channel block and tackle. The length is 33 inches and the width is just over 1/2 inch. The only markings I could find are the following 32 4 EW CMC 4 Thank you for your help.

Hello, I'd like to verify this is the correct Channel Balance. I believe it is the 33" series 385. The part is stamped 3290 (see photo) but there is not a 3290 option in your sash weight menu. Not sure what your replacement parts would be. I need two of these (for now). The length of the item is (end-2-end on metal frame) 33". It has a marking of "32 4 CADWELL FM" on the one side. My hardware says 32 5 CMC 2 I am thinking this is the 385.....The measure of the bottom is slightly larger than an inch and we are 1/2" thick on the sash.... Help, need channel balance replacement. The string snapped. This is from a single hung non tilt window made by Windowmaster. There is a number 3230 on the channel.

I weighed the window where the balances are to be replaced. It weighs 36lbs. The original balances are 3240. Should they be 3265 or other?

I need two 32 4 Caldwell fm They measure ½" in width, and on the back is written "32 4 CALDWELL FM". So it looks like from the spring on?.that this part need to be replaced (I think that the string broke). And one of the plastic "T's" is broken on one of them?don't know if that is possible to fix ... (cont.)

Hi, We have what we believe to be Milgard windows. Based on other posts I think maybe we need a series S386-33. The channel is 33" long. The depth of the bottom is 1-3/32". Channel width is a shy 5/8". Width of the base is 15/16" or a tad less perhaps due to wear. Top width is of course the same. Ma ... (cont.)
